Leftover Pistachio Milk Grounds

Okay, I’ll admit—I might not have the best blender, since I ended up with a lot of pistachio leftovers! 😂 But I’m all about reducing food waste, so I dehydrated them and now use the bits as a garnish for lattes or other dishes.

Ingredients:

  • Leftover pistachio grounds from pistachio milk

1.) Lay out the wet pistachio bits on parchment paper.

2.) Put it into the dehydrator.

3.) Set the temperature at 150°F (66°C) and time to 12 hours.

4.) Presh start.

5.) When it is done it should look and feel very dry.

6.) Put it into a blender to break it apart and smooth it out.

7.) Once it’s broken apart, store it in a container and use it to garnish on lattes, dishes, etc.

I hope this works out for you! Let me know what else you’ve used it for—I’d love to hear!
