One of my most favorite bar and it is my partner’s favorite bar ever. We ended up going for my partner’s birthday as well as bringing along friends here. B&F bar is a sister bar of the famous Bar Benfiddich in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

It’s a small bar right below Bar Benfiddich and we just happen to stumble into it since the Bar Benfiddich was closed that day. We walked in not knowing what to expect. It is a speakeasy bar where you tell them any kind of ingredients you want, and they will concoct something you will absolutely love. They specialize in Japanese-inspired flavors so feel free to tell them ingredients like yuzu, shiso, cherry blossom, etc. And any kind of Japanese liquor as well. :) As seen below my favorite was what I believe was called the cherry blossom gin sour.

The staff have been amazing as well and know how to entertain you. You might meet some great people here, which I also really enjoyed.

Note: I highly recommend getting there early before it gets crowded.

You can make reservations, but we never had to since we went early.

Bar B & F

Location: 13-7, Nishishinjuku 1-chome, Shinjuku, Tokyo 160-0023, Japan (Should be on the 2nd floor) - On my iphone I have to make sure there is a space between “B” and “&” and "F”. There has to be a space with B&F basically.

Directions: It’s not far at all from the Shinjuku station but it is a bit hidden and in an unexpected place. Bar Benfiddich
